The people of Prague have the opportunity to collect paper and cardboard, colored and colorless glass, plastics, beverage cartons, bulky waste, hazardous waste, mixed waste, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, electrical and wood waste, construction debris, tires, and waste from greenery.
In Prague waste is collected at container posts and using curb-side collections and permanent drop-off centres. The collection is provided by four specialised service suppliers. A large part of mixed waste collected in Prague is used for energy generation.
